Long time no post!
Um... really, just haven't felt like posting lately, I guess. *shrug*
I should be asleep. It's a Week From Hell at work (Mother's Day). We're taking bets on how long it takes us to completely lose our minds. I'm once again feverishly looking for another job, so I don't have to go through another holiday after this one.
Also, my knee just randomly started hurting. I think I twisted it once years ago and it never healed right, 'cause anytime I'm under unusual amounts of stress, it starts hurting. Blarg.
The upside to the work-related insanity is, there's bound to be a nice-sized check coming out of this. Combine it with eminent tax-rebate, and I'm all excited about things I may be able to purchase. At first I was thinking just new glasses and maybe a bike, but now I'm also considering painting my room (dark purple), and buying a new bed, maybe a new desk, definitely a new dresser, possibly some shelving, and probably a rug. ...Anyone know when the next Ikea twice-a-year sale is due? I'm under the impression there might be one coming up in June, but I'm really not sure.
A friend is out of town for a while and is letting me borrow his car. Jesus. How did I go a year and (almost) a half without my own transport? I think I owe him a life debt now or something.
*yawn*
Not really a whole lot else to report... I somehow managed to completely forget I was scheduled to usher this evening, which was embarrassing. My supervisor there is so nice though. Life would be so much nicer if all managers/supervisors were like my ushering supervisor.
God, I'm so ready for this week to be over.
