kit_maxel: (I aint no damsel in distress)
Woke up this morning in a really good mood. For like, the first time in months. It kinda ebbed after a few hours, but I don't feel nearly so down as I have lately, which is nice.

We ran a couple of scenes in Acting class and debated theory for a couple hours. Most of the class was either performing or backstage, so it felt a little empty and we had to try and be quieter than usual.

In English we've been debating the essays we read for homework. It's a lot of fun, getting into some very interesting discussions there. Gibson is less scary now.

My hair has reached that awkward point in between long and short where I can pull it back into a poneytail, but it doesn't look right up or down. It doesn't help that chunks of my hair are way shorter than other parts so they stick out all weird... hrm. I could just cut it all back again... It's been about seven months since I last cut it and it doesn't even touch my shoulders except at the very back...

Yvonne wants me to come in to rehearsal a little earlier today. In theory she will be picking me up to this end.

Really need to find a monologue for the Death of a Salesman audition next Monday... Also suppose I should be thinking about who to ask to be my next scene partner, although we've barely even gotten into the first scene... Karissa apparently already has all three of hers planned out, but most of the class seems to be focused on just this first one... wonder if Fuu would be up for it? should find out... Anyway, yeah, monologue. Gah. I was originally thinking I'd use the Kate one I used at the auditions at the beginning of the year, but do I want to go up with something Joel's already seen? I mean, yeah, I'm not planning to take a part in the show, but I do want to do well... 'Course, I'm seriously running out of time here, I need something I'm already familiar with... break out the old scripts, I guess. ;p Ruben said he was going to use the end of our scene from last semester. heeh. that's a good one.

I think we have a show! Hurrah, hurrah. Ran through all the tech cues, everthing should in theory be perfectly set tomorrow. How serendipitous, since tomorrow we have our first audience...
