kit_maxelI was overall disappointed with the finale... There were parts I liked, like James Marsters' awesome performance (but I am a consummate JM fangirl), Owen apologizing to Tosh. Tosh's death did make me tear up a bit, and her little video at the end was a little heartbreaking. But i knew from the second that Owen said he'd go to the power station that he was doomed and they dragged it out for waaaaaaaaay too long. I always enjoy an appearance by PC Andy tho. He's cute. I liked Gwen taking charge of the police and then only breaking down when everything was taken care of. Did not care for Gray or his storyline at all. copperbadge managed to make it make sense for me... I dunno. I hope next season continues being awesome and that they find good people to replace Tosh and Owen. I will miss Burn Gorman's acting skillz.

So, having had many discussions with Dave and Todd and Dwight vis a vis BSG, I decided a couple weeks ago that I really needed to catch up on that half of season 3 that I didn't watch. Took about two days. Oh man, I <3 this show. Why did I stop watching? I can't recall now. Anyway. I'm not a big fan of who the Final Four have turned out to be. Well. Tori I've suspected all along, so I'm cool with her being a Cylon. But I don't think it's a good choice for Tyrol, Sam, or Tigh's storylines. Especially Tyrol. Why put him through all that "AM I a cylon?" crap, prove that he isn't, and then turn around and make him one?
So Friday night, we had a premier viewing at Todd's. Because I had a show, I was late, so they dvrd it and watched RoboCop til I got there. Heh. So, we got to watch it sans commercial breaks.
Oh man, oh man, oh man. I love this show sooo very much. Scary Kara, poor cylon!Sam, Jesus!Baltar, proto-politician!Lee, eeeee! And then it ends with Kara holding a gun on Roslin! WTF!
I'm so used to watching BSG all at once, waiting 'til next week is gonna drive me nuts.
I've decided I want to cosplay as Boomer for ComicCon this year. Haven't decided which uniform. Want someone to come with me as Tyrol or Helo.

And then we have the absolute glee of DW's return! I wasn't really looking forward to Donna's coming on, since I didn't really like her in the Christmas ep. but I enjoyed her in this. The near misses through the first half of the ep. were great, although I did wonder how long they were going to keep it up. The pantomime when they finally saw each other was great! "It's me!" "I can see that!" And then you pan and the villains are watching them like "Uh, wtf are you guys doing?" Heeeeeh. And she's all packed to go and she has a hat-box and she makes the Doctor hold all of her luggage, and he's like "I just want a mate," and he means friend, but she takes it totally the wrong way and screams at him! And ROSE! Rose, Rose, Rose!!!!!!! I've heard rumors that she'll be back, but I wasn't expecting her to pop up in the first episode! There is an explosion of fangirly glee, let me tell you.

-Dishes
-Sleep
-Eaten a Tuna Sandwich
-Read Torchwood Fic
I really, really need to do laundry...
