The pirated internet is officially done. It has now been over two days since I was last able to make a steady connection. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. Eventually I will get my own, but for now I have a reason to get out of the house regularly, even if "out of the house" = Filter, where, despite the recent downturn in its fare, I still end up pretty regularly anyway.

Work is awesome. I <3 my new job. Also, frozen yogurt. Mmmmm. New Boss says I'm fantastic. ^_^ It's nice to be appreciated.

Thursday I got a bike. It's pretty and purple and fits me perfect, and although it is a coaster and therefor has no gears or hand-brakes, I adore it. Yesterday I biked to to work, which was fun and not difficult (entirely down hill). Then I decided to try biking home, which was fun in a different way and much more difficult (entirely up hill), but I didn't regret it half as much as I thought I was going to today.

I also saw Hancock with Lettie on Thursday. Very good movie, highly recommend.

Yesterday, after I recovered from my up hill trek, Dave-from-the-show (as opposed to Dave-the-Browncoat) was having a 4th of July party which was also supposed to be a semi=cast party, except I was the only other cast member who showed up. But I made do with the other guests, who were all pretty cool. Showed the 7 year old that he could draw on the deck with charcoal, played with the dog, all that fun stuff. We could hear the fireworks, but couldn't actually see them. Played Karaoke Revolution. Got home before midnight and slept sound.

This morning I woke up properly around 10 (I'd woken up a few times previously because I've been sleeping with the curtains open, so the sun wakes me up most days). I lay in bed for a while and thought "this is what I'm going to do today: rearrange me room, and here's how it'll go, do laundry, go over to Filter and see what I've been missing online." Then I picked up Havemercy and thought "well, I'll just read for a little bit, and then I'll do all that."

I ended up forcing myself to put the book down around 1:00 so I could take a shower and eat something. Oh man, it is so good.

I did eventually get around to everything I'd planned to do today. My clothes are clean (and the ones I never wear sorted to be taken to a consignment store), and my room is rearranged (and swept!). I am quite pleased with the results of my efforts. I'm still dallying with getting a loft bed, but for now this arrangement will do nicely. It feels more open, but I suspect it's just a different point of view. I do usually tend to rearranged at least once a year. Usually about this time every year too. Huh.

Now I am at Filter, poking about the internets. It is very nice to sit down and relax after being so busy today.

And now, Dr. Who! Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!
