So, last weekend Marc and I went to Comic Con and it was awesome. ^_^ There were so many things that were amazing and I had a really good time and got tons of swag. I met the California Browncoats and bought a Serenity poster. I also bought the Dr. Who "The Doctor Regeneration Set", so I have figures of both Nine and Ten. I can't decide if I want to leave them in their little plastic see-through TARDIS packaging, or if I want to take them out and pose them in fun ways. They only have one Sonic Screwdriver between them... I didn't get to go to any of the really good panels 'cause I had to work on Saturday and there weren't any good ones on Sunday when I did go, but Marc got to go to the Futurama one on Saturday and he was so excited about it when he got home. It was cute.

Not too much happened the rest of the week... Work is meh; a construction crew finally showed up on Friday to start work on the wall that was damaged in the wreck, but all they managed to do all day was tear the sheet-rock down, so now we have a skeleton of a wall (with bent door frame).

Today I went to the beach with Ally and her sister and some of her friends. It was a lot of fun! I haven't been to the beach in ages (what with living in the desert for seven years, and then... I don't know, I don't really have an excuse for not going in the last eight months...). We hung out most of the day. I did, however, get really burned. I used the same sunscreen Ally used, figuring that as she's pretty fair and didn't get burned, I'd be ok. Nope. I got the most burned. Even my legs are burned! But just my shins, so it's gonna look super weird when it browns out. Augh, so much burning... But I'm glad I went. It's nice to have a semblance of a social life. ;p
