the complete 180 of going from "Barbie Girl" (why do I have so many Aqua mp3s and why did I decide to keep most of them during the Great Purge? Clearly a sign of insanity. *sage nod*) to Live's "Pillar of Davidson." Oh teh awesomeness of my collection. ;p
Speaking of the Great Purge. I finished it yesterday, getting my collection down from almost 1500 to 1280, but then I immediately downloaded the Battlestar Galactica S2 soundtrack, so now it's back up to 1304.

I have also decided to try and employ the subject box on a more regular basis. 'Cause it looks more organized that way. ;p
Also, speaking of BSG, This is awesome. Starbuck Battles the Robots. How can that not be a winning combination? (there are some spoilers though, so be warned)

So, it's been a year and a half since Suka (our fifteen year old Siberian Huskey for those who don't remember or weren't reading) ran away. About every six months or so since, we've tossed around the idea of getting a puppy, but invariably we've (Mum and Joe) decided against. Besides the fact that everyone wants a different kind of dog (I want a Beagle, but everyone else seems set on a bigger dog of one kind or another), it's pretty much agreed upon by everyone besides Annze that no one really has the time or capability to give a puppy the kind of attention it would need. Especially the house training part.
Anyway, on Saturday Chris mentioned that he's got a friend who's trying to find homes for some German Shepherd puppies and I passed it on to Mum and Joe because Mum's said if we got a dog, she'd like a German Shepherd. But I figured there wouldn't be anything more about it. Apparently Annze got wind of the discussion somehow and sometime last night Mum and Joe said they'd seriously think about it. Today they came to the usual conclusion, Annze threw a fit, and that seemed to be that. Then a little while ago Annze slipped a note under my door informing me that Joe had said if she could get two people to commit to helping her take care of a puppy, it might become more of a possibility.
I would like to get a puppy. But I think I'm right to suspect that no matter what anyone says they'll commit to, it wouldn't get the attention it needs. I'd like to think we'd be able to take proper care of it, but hell, sometimes Dominic's too much to take care of and he's about as self-sufficient as pets get.
