My own thoughts on the matter seem to be on the odd side. It ties in with my general world view of "Why can't we all just be PEOPLE? Why do we have to be divided into groups of men/women/white/black/mexican/asian/indian/old/young/gay/strait/jewish/christian/atheist/muslim/buddhist/etc/etc/etc? In the end aren't we all just human?" But to be more specific, I've simply never really cared about my weight.
I mean, ok, I'm far from being overweight or even erring on the side of a little heavy. But I'm not stick-thin either and I've never aspired to be. Sure, sometimes I've fleetingly thought, 'gee, I would like be shaped more like [X]", but for the most part I'm comfortable with my round belly and ample hips. Ironically, I could stand to part with a little weight in the chest area, but that's more because I can hardly ever find a bra that fits than anything else. I like the way I am shaped, and I guess I have an abnormally-sized ego or something to be so confidant in my body, but I've always been baffled as to why other females feel compelled to do the things they do to themselves in the name of beauty...
so yeah, there's my nonsensical speil for the day...
