lemme see, lemme see, lemme see...
Jan. 21st, 2006 11:07 pmwhat was I doing when last I reported?
Not much of consequence? Ok. Guess we'll pick up from there.
First week of school... err, yay, I guess...
*Poli-Sci: so far, pretty interesting. Don't think Pallitto is going to be quite as difficult as Webking, but he's also not quite as engaging or collected... seems nice enough though.
*Acting Two: Yay, Joel. This one's pretty much guaranteed to not suck. I am dissappointed that Fernie, Karla, and Ruben seem to be opting out, but Mario is in along a few other people from last semester.
*English: Oh god. I should have taken a break from English and taken something else. Thank god this is the last core English class. Gibson is scary (though he seems to realize it and says he doesn't mean to be).
*Biology: Most. Boring. Professor. In. The. Department. Gotta be. Fwaugh.... Damnit, I like biology! why couldn't an interesting prof be leading this class???
It's going to be a looooong semester.
Also, parking = bitch. I am going to kill someone if a solution cannot be come to soon. They haven't even started work on this great project of theirs!
Put in two job applications this week. Was supposed to have heard back by yesterday. Guess that means they don't want me.
Watched the BBC Pride and Prejudice on Sunday and Tuesday. Squee as usual.
Took Annze and Rory to see Narnia this afternoon. Annze'd already seen it and wanted to see it again, Rory hadn't and was afraid Hollywood was going to ruin his childhood, but he said he liked it overall (his main complaint was how clean it was). The theater was almost full, which surprised me since it's been out for over a month. Unfortunately, many of them were talking loudly during the movie, including a woman whose phone rang during the opening credits and she answered and had a loud conversation throughout the introductory scenes. Afhdd. Also, the several groups who came in after the movie had started and as late as an hour or so in. o.O Otherwise, I enjoyed it just as much as before (though I was a little more critical and noticed the children dressed as dwarves and the random gorilla), and this time we stayed for the final final scene. Yay, Jim Broadbent!Professor. Afterward we got ice cream at Baskin Robbins and then I took Annze to the mall.
Currently rereading Trickster's Queen, but I've decided to track down our various copies of the Chronicles and reread them as well. I'm not sure if I ever got past The Silver Chair... though I do remember reading some of The Magician's Nephew too... hrm.
Also rereading Sailor Moon Clarity off and on. Had difficulty finding any good SM fic which I hadn't already read after watching PGSM.
Jareth, I got your present yesterday! Thank you! You rock, my friend. (He sent me The Arabian Nights. ^^)
So much to read, so little time...
The Dom has taken to sleeping on my bed more than my deskchair. He currently curled up and adorable.
There was a Die Laughing rehearsal/photoshoot on Tuesday. The pictures should be in tomorrow's El Paso Inc., which I will link to then, and eventually they should replace the outdated one on the website. The rehearsal ended up being unneeded because Montelioni's decided to forgo this month's performance for some reason... I may be playing Gina in the show at Il Posto next month though, since Stella's going to be onstage. Although, Yvonne asked me to do tech for Picasso, so there may be some difficulty there...
This is a lot of fun. (EDIT: also known as "SCARY AS FUCKING HELL", but I mostly just found it fascinating... perhaps I am a bit jaded. Make sure you get all of it, including the blogs and ljs.)
Finished the extra campaigns on Frozen Throne. Debating whether to restart the main mission or not. Can't seem to get the cheat codes working lately, and I am useless at Warcraft without unlimited gold/lumber.
Rewatched Serenity the other night in an attempt to jump-start the fic, which is stalling once again. It helped some, but I think I need to watch the series again. Gus needs to give it back... Anyway, got some caps and some comments on it that I'm going to post later, because, hey, I am that much of a dork.
Been doing some work with thoughts of another site update in mind, but I'm promising nothing.
And, rest assured, all of this has been going on around bouts of homework. Blah.
